Junior Environment Artist (Unreal Engine)


Blue Dot Games is seeking a junior environment artist to join our small env art team working on the title '83 ( https://83thegame.com ). We are a small, friendly and ambitious team with big plans. Could you be part of these plans?

A successful applicant for this role will have experience of creating photorealistic environment art for use in multiplayer games.

The candidate will have a great eye for detail and have experience in some or all of the following aspects of Unreal Engine:

  • In-editor modelling tools
  • Prop making
  • VSM
  • HLoDs
  • PCG Terrain
  • Master Materials
  • Texture/Material optimisation

Familiarity with Unreal Engine (ideally UE5) workflows and pipelines is essential, as is an understanding of the latest optimisation techniques.

Preference given to artists with some knowledge of lighting techniques in Unreal.

The team will be remote so effective communication skills in an all-remote setting are required.
